    TNA Involved in Sexual Harassment Lawsuit!

      TNA Wrestling was recently the subject of a sexual harassment lawsuit allegedly filed by Karen Jarrett, wife of TNA founder Jeff Jarrett.  The Honky Tonk Man spoke about the lawsuit on the most recent edition of his weekly podcast and revealed some further details about the suit. The lawsuit against TNA alleges that Karen was sexually harassed by Serge Salinas, husband of TNA President Dixie Carter.  HTM also said that a settlement has since been reached, and that part of the deal was that Karen would regain her job in the company. Furthermore, he also claims that the lawsuit is the real reason that Dixie was removed from TNA television, not because of the storyline with Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.   HTM also posted the following message on his official Twitter page this past Monday: "Anyone who missed HTM's announcement on TNA tonight. Karen Angle vs Dixie Carter's husband is the sexual harassment lawsuit going down! That's why Dixie is off TV and Karen is now back with the company as part of the settlement."

    Current World Heavyweight Champion Edge announced he would retire from WWE last night due to a serious spinal condition which could cause paralysis or even death. We here at False Count Radio would like to congratulate Edge on a stellar acreer and commend him for knowing now is the time to get out of the ring.

    TNA President Dixie Carter Suspended from Twitter

    TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter had her twitter profile suspended today after violating the terms of the site. A few weeks ago her background image was updated to feature a  "Verified Account" title on the image, according to twitter unless it is officially verified by them they can and will suspended users. Here is the rule Carter broke: "Misuse of Twitter Badges: You may not use a Verified Account badge or Promoted Products badge unless it is provided by Twitter. Accounts using these badges as part of profile pictures, background images, or in a way that falsely implies affiliation with Twitter will be suspended."

    WWE Releases Long Time Employee

    WWE released producer/agent Dave "Fit" Finlay yesterday.Finlay was said to have gained heat and criticism for booking The Miz to interrupt the national anthem at a recent house show in which a number of National Guard representatives were in attendance, of course a sponsor of WWE. Word got back to WWE management that the reps were not impressed and they decided to release him. Finlay has been with WWE since 2001 as a trainer and returned to the ring between 2006-2011. It is hoped when this blows over he will be able to return being a popular and well liked figure backstage. (Source: www.wrestingnewssource.com)
